Blame Canada. Specifically, Magna International, the long-running auto parts supplier that managed to predict the future so perfectly it's as if we Canadians know a thing or two about cars.
A supplier constructing a rudimentary concept to earn automakers' business is nothing new, what was unique about Torrero is its scope.

Three were made—one drives and survives in Canada, one crushed, and the third is MIA. The project spanned from 1987-1989, at a reported cost of around $10 million Usd.
