We can slice and dice and argue all day about what “weird” truly means. If we’re talking about how well-known a car is, well, this Triumph is among the popular kids at WCOTD. From a Car and Driver cover — on the way to its one and only race appearance-slash-DNF at the notoriously 1968 12 Hours of Sebring, the Triumph TR-250K is a mythical unicorn of the highest order.
One flaw: it hasn’t had the WCOTD treatment yet. I was able to find promotional DVDs, period articles and modern, full interviews with the car’s original builders to round out my coverage of this special car. All linked below, as usual.
