Weird Car of the Day #441: 1969 Auto Craft Savage GT – Gone fishin’
Research tells me that some people have what is known as a “group” of friends, and this “group” of people will get together — in person, no less — spending this time talking about topics of interest to them.
I can’t prove this, but I’d wager some of these close associates even talk about cars? A stretch, I know.
Judging by the number of times I’ve seen an Auto Craft Savage GT in person (zero) and amount of times I’ve heard it mentioned in casual conversation (zero), it stands to reason that this modified muscle car is still waiting to catch on. In other words, if our group of friends wanted to arrive by Savage GTs, they’d probably have to carpool.
Muscle car may not be strictly correct: the Savage GT was meant to go toe to toe with the Shelbys of the world, however this plan remains unfulfilled.
Here’s why, friend.
